Turn one block into another
Change a block's type without losing what you wrote.
Any block can become almost any other, and your text comes along.
- Click the ⋮⋮ handle to the left of the block.
- Hover Turn into.
- Choose the new type — a bullet into a checkbox, plain text into a heading, a paragraph into a toggle.
Tip At the very start of a non-text block, pressing Backspace turns it back into plain text — a quick way to undo a heading or list.
